Today we went to the library to learn about our home reading program. Your child is bringing a home to work on reading with you. They are welcome to bring the book back tomorrow to get another one to help grow their reading skills.
In math, we worked with a five frame to build a variety of numbers.

Open House is on Tuesday, September 17th from 6:00pm-7:00pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to share a bit of their classroom life with you. We understand the importance of getting your child to bed, so we are not expecting you to stay for the full hour; You may arrive and leave any time between 6:00-7:00pm that is convenient for your family's schedule. We can't wait to see you!
Recycle Rhonda came to visit today and teach kindergartners how to be Planet Protectors by composting, and recycling correctly. So fun!
Ask your child where to put floppy plastic like a wrapper (trash), old food (compost), or a piece of paper (recycling). Napkins go in compost!
